Walnut Rhombuses


Ingredients: Batter Walnut Rhombuses

  125g softened butter
2 eggs
100g sugar
1 pack vanilla sugar
250g ground walnuts
50g corn flour
1 tsp. baking soda
150g walnut pulp for the decoration

Cream the butter with the eggs, sugar and the vanilla sugar until light. Stir in the ground walnuts, the corn flour and the baking soda. Spread the dough on a lined baking tray and mark off 4cm wide rhombuses. Decorate each rhombus with half a walnut. Preheat the oven to 175°C and bake for 20 min. When the dough has cooled, cut out the rhombuses.
